When I got to DUB, I met my friend and we went to the Spotting mound to get photographs of the traffic going in and out of Dublin.

Some of the notable aircraft I got that day include:

Around 15:30pm, the weather got too dark and miserable so I went to the Terminal for the evening, my friend left at 20:30pm back to MAN and I prepared to wade through the night air side before my 08:10am flight back to London Luton.

I spent some time photographing the airport check in desks both Terminals as well as making the most of the charging ports. It felt nice to have a quiet terminal which was nearly all to myself.

Around 05:30AM, We went to security and got through, We sat by a window which provided a view of a BA Cityflyer E-190 and Aer Lingus A320.

Around 06:50am, we looked at Flight Radar to find our aircraft back to London Luton would be EI-EMP, a Boeing 737-8AS(WL) delivered in 2010.

We boared the 737 from the rear doors.

Having been up since 03:00am the previous day, I was really tired. After boarding and seating in Row 21A, I was drifting on and off throughout the flight- not something I normally do.

We departed ontime. Day had broken and I got a good view of Dublin as we climbed out.

I only had an orange juice on this flight, I spent half of it a sleep.

We came into London Luton 10 minutes early. The skies in London were nice and clear. We landed, however the plane bounced the landing which was quite fun. Must have been caught by a stray breeze.

After taxiing and parking up (as well as hearing the Ryanair jingle) I got off the jet. I didn't go via the flight deck this time as I left out the back getting some images as I went…

All in all a good flight. On the way out of the Airport I bagged the LaCompagine 757-200(WL) and some parked aircraft from the car-park

Conclusion

Ryanair- Not a lot to say, on time and good value.

Dublin Airport- Fantastic for spotting at the mound and the two Terminals were good to explore around at night.

London Luton- We didn't go through passport control which surprised me, we got the domestic arrival treatment even though Ireland is not in the UK (Northern Ireland is though). Luton is a pretty cool airport.

So you slept in that empty terminal ? Must be eerie...
Ireland and the UK are in the Common Travel Area, which probably explains the absence of passport control at the arrival.

Nice plane shots, but the copyright logo is a visual nuisance. With less contrast, it would serve the same purpose in a more pleasing manner.
The plane parking lot in LTN looks cluttered, partly due to the telelens, I presume.

    Thanks for sharing !

I didn't sleep a wink in the Terminal, but had fun exploring both of them. Those copyright logo's are there because I am in a photography group and they sent me files under 2MB for uploading- so I used them instead of the copies without, sorry and just for the record- I am not promoting that group. I have never seen Luton so busy!!! Thanks for the feedback :)

Thanks for sharing your spotting pictures they are excellent. What is the colorfull plane in the back of the Turkish one taking off ?
As for the flight itself, well it's Ryanair with those terrible yellow and blue cabin interiors that hurt my eyes. But apprently your crew was good and your flight on time which is more important.

Thanks, the colourful aircraft is a fire-trainer that used to be a special livery Boeing 737-200 of Ryanair. Ryanair isn't much to rave over, but I like it that they are cheap and get the job done. I will be flying them quite a bit more hopefully
