Photo review of LAN Airlines flight from Santiago to Buenos Aires in Business

Arriving from Madrid i visited the Lan Lounge in Santiago de Chile. The lounge is new, have a little more than a year. Its difficult to found it in the airport but if you look in the Dutty free can take the lift to there.

The wines are really good and the food are snacks. Have some warm options in the lunch time.

Have a shower service with the same Amenity Kit of the Business Class long haul flights. Made it by Salvatore Ferragamo.

Like my flight was delayed because the airplane arrived late from Australia i decided visite the American Admiral lounge in the airport.

The Admiral lounge is downstairs, can take a little hydraulic lift too. The lady there was really kind.
Have 3 wi fi options, a kids play zone and showers that i dint use.

The flight was operated by the new Boeing 787-900. The layout is 2-2-2 in the J Class and 3-3-3 in the Y class.

Daniela, part of the Crew offered Water, Orange Juice or Pisco Sour. Really nice detail.

I have to say, the food service disappoint me. For 2 hours flight a sandwich in this amazing plane was a bad surprise. The bread was dry, the almond sweet was ok but i think is not a service for a Business Ticket about u$s600 american dollars.

Conclusion

The Boeing 789 is amazing plane. The crew let me take a picture in the cock pit and a detail is, to cover this route (SCL MAD) flight 3 pilots, and they 3 was really kind with me there. The J Class is spacious, the seat is confortable and the IFE is really good but the food service was poor for 2 hours flight.
I had problems with Lan, with a code share flight so i will not take again a flight with they. To flight this route KLM is offering a new Business Class cabin and the service looks pretty better. Even Air Canada with the B77W.
And remember, Lan offer special services in Code Share flights in the website but when you need to take one they say cant do it because the flight (in code share) is operated with other company so you have to call to they. The other company say the same so, you cant use special services.
