I was waiting for anthonytahiti to post his return Rangiroa-Papeete to post mine !
So back to where I stopped on the previous report. After the Manihi-Rangiroa leg, we now have a short stop in Rangiroa and this time we don't have to disembark unlike the flight to Manihi. It was actually a relief as I prefer to stay onboard with the air conditioning on !

The cabin was empty and it wasn't going to be full on the last leg of the trip either with only 20 odd passengers joining us in Rangiroa.

The joining passengers board and we are ready for departure. We go to the runway's end before rolling fast and sore towards Papeete !

We continue our route to Papeete and soon the atoll of Tetiaroa.
Arrival in Tahiti-Faa'a is done above Papeete, anthonytahiti offered us pictures taken on the left hand side of the plane, here are pictures from the right hand side.

We arrived on time in Papeete, we finish our taxy at the ATR parking stands.
Going to Manihi there was a Monarch 757, on our return we have a French Air Force ET03/060 Esterel Airbus A340-300.
Our ATR does its last turn and we get parked ready for the plane's next flight.

We walk towards the domestic terminal and soon after, bags arrive.
Customs officers are there at the flights arrival and the opened every cooler containing fish and seafood. Indeed some VERY BAD people are involved in sea turtle meat traffic and it is forbidden to fish, hunt or kill sea turtles in French territories. If it came to my decision I would drown the people fishing or eating turtle meat !

Flight on time, it was comfortable due to the poor load factor.
Cabin service was poor...
I should but less points but a pineapple juice is better than nothing...

1er airbus d\'ATN , le Bora Bora, livré en 2002 J\'espère que cette compagnie ne disparaitra pas, il faudrait qu\'elle refasse son IFE et qu\'elle change d\'avion peut être. Personnellement le probleme d\'ATN c\'est pour faire 5000 km comme 20 000 km c\'est le même avion, pour les autres compagnies par exemple ANZ c\'est des avions différents. L\'erreur d\'ATN aura été de commander 5 A340-300 elle aurait pu diversifier sa gamme avec des A330-200 ou B767-300ER mais bon. J\'espere que ces FR donneront envie à nos amis métropolitains et autres de venir passer des vacances à Tahiti et ses îles !
Si les douaniers cherchent de la viande de tortue de mer dans des glacières contenant du poisson, ils ne vont pas trouver grand chose :) (je suis de mauvaise foi, car votre phrase ne signifie pas qu\'elles ne contiennent QUE du poisson). Blague à part, et sans être aussi radical pour ce qui est de la pénalisation, je suis d\'accord qu\'il faut lutter contre le braconnage. Merci pour ce FR ! @rgz : Tahiti, c\'est vraiment loin de la métropole. Déjà que Taïwan, île deux fois plus proche et plus paradisiaque que Tahiti, n\'attire pas grand monde :)
@lagentsecret : je suis bon joueur : le jus d\'ananas d\'Air Tahiti est meilleur que le café de Mandarin Airlines. C\'est le seul avantage que je concède à VT et son réseau de destinations :)
