Dear followers, today I will be doing a flight-report of my flight from Krasnodar to Vienna with Austrian.
Prologue
This is not my first time flying this route, I've been using this flight almost since 2011, as it is very handy, especially when flying to European cities. This time I'll be flying to Amsterdam via Vienna.
Beginning
So this time I've got an upgrade to business class, thanks Austrian. I got a seat 4F, and it was interesting that in business class cabin one passenger basically has two seats, thanks to the "reserved for you comfort" seat, so there are only two people sitting on a row. During our taxi I noticed an A330, which was the first time I see wide-body aircraft at KRR, and my intuition was not wrong: it was a first landing of such a big aircraft at this airport.
After a departure you can see a lot of interesting things from above, such as the airport itself, the new FC Krasnodar soccer stadium and the city of Krasnodar:
Mid-Flight
During the flight drinks and a mean was served. Here is a menu and a meal:
*Just want to mention that there are different kind of bread to choose from
The meal was really enjoyable, which is normal for Austrian Airlines. There is also in-flight duty-free with some nice prices and products
Landing
We started to decent around 16:30 local time, after a really smooth landing we taxied to our parking spot. Landed 10 mins before schedule.
A flight to Krasnodar is the longest in-Europe Austrian flight with more than 1700km of flight distance.
