After my long LAX-AMS flight I went to the Crown Lounge in the international zone. It was packed and not a seat insight so I elected to go to the Crown Lounge 25 to wait for my flight to Billund.
That lounge was far less crowded and also quieter. I took a shower and had a snack and waited for my flight.

The lounge started to get full and it was time to walk to the Boeing 737-700 PH-BGI Vink/Finch that will take me to Billund as KL1347 today.

Loadfactor in Europe Select is very light with only 2 passengers out of the 3 rows of 6 seats in the cabin.

Conclusion

The short-haul KLM product is not the best. I was very lucky to have a nearly empty Europe Select cabin and have a lot of space.
I am not very fussy concerning the meals, particularly walking off a long haul flight and the lounge offerings, I wasn't very hungry and the small meal we were served was more than adequat and the quality was top-notch, particularly the cheesecake.

I won't post the return trip as I was travelling with my 4 year old niece and it is a lot more difficult to take pictures when you have to look after a 4 year old little girl on your own on 4 flights !
