Being in X-mas Hollidays since Friday December 20th and needing to go to Cannes on Wednesday December 25th and wishing to go in Israel during this period, I created an alarm on Kayak 3 weeks before. I found nothing interesting before Wednesday December 18th where Kayak made me an offer with Alitalia at 500€ on Expedia, with an extra 50€ offered by Expedia once on their website.
I let you when I had only 20min left to bard. I passed the security cheks very fast The FIDS :

The Casa Alitalia. The lounge I want the most to try
After running in all the terminal, I arrive at my boarding gate where the boarding had just started. THE BOARDING GATE IS THE NEAREST ONE FROM THE GATE I ARRIVED

The pitch is very good and the seat very confortable :
The seat is very strange. There is a place for a former IFE. Someone has an explanation ?
The PSU shows a more younger airplane than the one on the former flight
I love the wing with the logo Alitalia
The time all the passengers in connection from my flight arrives, we wait. I really had the time to make the connection actually. We will push-back with a 20 min delay.
No neighbour, the flight is going to be confortable.
When pushig-back, we cross an E-jet BA for LCY
Then, an A321 W6 FCO seems to be very open for the LCC (FR,W6, Vueling…)

This meal does not correspond to what I eat but is common to all these destinations as this paper explains
I will eat everything I can. Everything is tasty (rare for this altitude)
The cruise continues under this wonderful sunset :

We land on time. Small local spotting. A320 Israir :

The airport is empty I landed whereas shabbat had already strated in Israël.
I will pass the controls in less than 5 min. The luggage will arrive shortly. Mine has followed despite the short transfer time in FCO

Conclusion
A very good flight with Alitalia. The catering mark is decreased for the lack of special meals on board (couldn't ordered it before on AZ website) But, I really think in terms of taste, it is one of the best meal I had on board an airplane. FCO is a beautiful airport but the management of the transfer seems to be laborious. TLV is as usual fonctionnal and the date and the time of arrival let me pass all the checks very fast.

Hi, thanks for you commentary. Yes, I meant the wing. I made the modification ;) As long as you can eat, ok. But, I find it a pity to serve such a meal on a destination they know many people are going not to eat what they serve.
Hi, thanks for sharing your experience on that flight. Alitalia seem to offer a solid product; and I agree with you on the logo on the wing, that's definitely a cool thing. I hope you had a great time in Israel. Looking forward to the return flight.

I think you mean the wing. Because you're seated on a window seat, two seats before the aisle seat.
True. Very beautiful picture.
The catering seems good despite the flight's time. That said, as long as you can eat it, that's the most important. :)
