Pre-Departure Drinks were Champagne, OJ or Sodas. I Take the champagne twice. Immediately when boarding note that there was no IFE. Ask AF and told me that after takeoff would give us an iPad for everyone. The contents of the iPad went 4 premieres and 8 selected films. In addition, had series, and 20 albums at least. Unfortunately was not comfortable having it while watching a movie

One hour before landin breakfast was available. There was a hot and cold option. Just take the cold. Hot option was turkey sausage with scrambled eggs.

The 762 is a big A318 to my mind. It looks big and short at the same time. This bird looked better with the old AM's colors.
There isn't any IFE for this 10hrs long flight ? Wow, but I don't think there is any 762 with IFE, am I wrong ? You're really kind for the Entrainement rating. :p
The cabin looks a quit old but not a surprise for a 762. The AM's product looks not bad but I think there is better in LatAm like LAN, TAM or AV on long-haul fleet, and may'be CM and TACA.
Thanks for sharing. What a big difference with their 787s seen in another report. I would hate to be handed an Ipad for IFE as one of my favorite things to watch on the IFE is the airshow. Did you change seats during the flight? Some pics are on the right side and some on the left side. R class doesn't show up as one of AM's Business class fares, is it a special unpublished fare class?
Thanks for the explanation, that makes sense. How often do you do upgrades with Optiontown? Does is work more often than not? I'm thinking about taking AM IAD-MEX for a weekend but was hesitating because if I take Delta I will get free upgrades (as a Platinum Elite). But if I can get a cheap upgrade on AM, I would like to check it out.
I use optiontown four times and four times the upgrade was performed. I pay between 40 and 60% less than the Aeromexico´s web page. The problem is that it is confirmed between 1 day and 4 hours before the flight!
Thanks for this report. The J seat looks narrow and the meal is rather underwhelming. I guess most of the courses are placed in the tray in order to maximize time and allow people to go to sleep right after the meal. However, being served 2 hrs after take off is a long wait in my opinion and not the most efficient way to handle a late dinner.

Catering looks ok as does the seat.

I made the ugrade by optiontown.com. Maybe that's why the class is R. the upgrade was conditional if there were places available.
