After I landed in London from my inbound Newark flight, I made my way to the main building of T5 to go through security and go wait for my flight to Paris CDG.
I had a few hours to spare and chose to have a long layover just in case flights were delayed because of weather or 787 related problems.
Nothing of the sort happened and I was delivered on time ! I did the long queues at security, went through them and then headed to one of the convenience shop to buy myself a couple of sandwiches and an Irn Bru !
I waited patiently and did some people watching. I was amazed at how young the Mixed fleet crews looked, some of them looked like they were 15 !!!
Anyway. Boarding was called on time and when called, I made my way downstairs and on to the aircraft.
Boarding went by smoothly and today's Airbus A319 is G-EUPP
Getting closer to the aircraft !
I was lucky enough to score an emergency exit from the booking process !
Plenty of legroom for a 187cm or 6'2 person.
My row is not full yet, people are still getting on board.
And we're all on board now !
The crew is handing out hot towels in Club Europe.
Safety video is put on, we get to the runway and take off towards Paris.
After take off, the crew start the service. a drink and crisps !
Club World curtains are drawn, cabin is quiet and peaceful. The flight is over in a second !
We land on time in Paris Charles de Gaulle and our Airbus is parked on a remote stand and we are bussed to the the terminal 2A.

Conclusion
LHR-CDG is one of the shortest flights in the world and the days of trays and food in Economy Class on this route are long gone. I don't really care as on such a short flight, I prefer to entertain myself with a book, on my tablet and just enjoy a drink and a snack. Yet I would advise the airlines to offer more choice of snack with for example, crisps, peanuts, pretzels for the salty option, and chocolates, cookies or mini muffins for the sweet option. And put more than 5 crisps in the packet ! We all know how frustrating it is to eat crisps and witness that they are already gone just after you opened the bag !
All in all, a good flight on British Airways on this short route.
0 LIKESLIKE TO THANK THE AUTHORTHANKS ! FLIGHT-REPORT LIKED
Thanks for this short report with nice pics of the cabin. The last time I took a flight between these cities was early 2000's with BD and I remember them offering a sandwich in Y that tasted like cardboard. So in a way what you get now is probably better.
