Airline, aircraft, route

Airline: Ryanair is an Irish ultra-low-cost airline that was founded in 1984 by Tony Ryan. It is one of the largest and most popular budget airlines in Europe, known for its low fares and no-frills approach to air travel. The airline's headquarters is located in Dublin, Ireland.

Ryanair operates a vast network of flights across Europe and nearby destinations, offering a wide range of domestic and international routes. The company has a significant presence at numerous airports, including London Stansted Airport, Dublin Airport, Barcelona El Prat Airport, Milan Bergamo Airport, and many others.

The airline gained popularity by adopting a point-to-point business model, which means it operates direct flights between smaller airports, often avoiding major hubs to minimize costs and turnaround times. To keep fares low, Ryanair often charges extra for services that are typically included in the ticket price on other airlines, such as baggage allowance, seat selection, and in-flight meals.

Over the years, Ryanair has faced both praise and criticism for its business practices. While many travelers appreciate the affordable fares and extensive route network, others have raised concerns about customer service, additional fees, and strict baggage policies. Despite this, Ryanair has remained a dominant force in the European aviation market and continues to attract a large number of passengers.

Please note that any recent developments or changes related to Ryanair that occurred after Novemeber of 2023 would not be reflected in this response.

Aircraft: The Boeing 737-800 is a popular and widely used narrow-body, short-to-medium-range commercial aircraft manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. It is a member of the Boeing 737 Next Generation (NG) family, which succeeded the original Boeing 737 Classic series.

Key features and specifications of the Boeing 737-800:

Capacity: The typical seating capacity of the Boeing 737-800 is around 162 to 189 passengers in a two-class configuration, although it can vary based on the specific airline's seating arrangements.

Range: The range of the Boeing 737-800 is approximately 2,935 to 3,850 nautical miles (5,435 to 7,130 kilometers), depending on the model variant and configuration. This range allows it to operate both short-haul and medium-haul routes efficiently.

Fuel Efficiency: The 737-800 is designed to be fuel-efficient, making it a popular choice for airlines seeking to reduce operating costs and environmental impact.

Cockpit and Avionics: The aircraft features an advanced digital cockpit equipped with modern avionics, including LCD displays, fly-by-wire technology, and other electronic systems to enhance flight safety and efficiency.

Performance: The Boeing 737-800 is equipped with more powerful engines compared to its predecessors, which improves its takeoff performance, climb rate, and overall capabilities.

Winglets: Many 737-800 aircraft are fitted with blended winglets at the tip of their wings. These winglets reduce drag and improve fuel efficiency, resulting in longer range and reduced operating costs.

Commonality: The 737-800 shares a high degree of commonality with other members of the Boeing 737 Next Generation family, such as the 737-700, 737-900, and various versions of the 737 MAX, making it attractive for airlines already operating other 737 models.

The Boeing 737-800 has been a popular choice for airlines worldwide, as it provides a good balance of capacity, range, and fuel efficiency, making it suitable for a wide range of routes, from short domestic flights to longer international journeys. It has been widely used by low-cost carriers, legacy airlines, and charter operators alike, contributing to its widespread presence in the global aviation industry.

ARRIVING AT THE AIRPORT, ARRIVING TO TERMINAL

We were planning to go on a bus that brings people from Venice to TSF airport, but we missed that bus. We were 4 minutes late, so always be there early. Then we saw a taxi, and we went on. It was 50 euros for my family of 4, and it was also a lot faster than the bus, so I highly recommend the taxi. When we arrived at the airport, we went to the security control. It was a long wait, so if you have some spare money left, buy the fast pass; it will really help you. When we were done, we went to eat something. They really don't have many restaurants, but if you want a sandwich, you could get it. did some plane spotting, and then we went to our gate.

Boarding, Takeoff

As we went to our gate, we saw that there was a really long line, so we sat down and boarded the plane last. When we were finally boarding the plane, I was greeted by the friendliest cabin crew I had ever seen. One of them was on the last flight coming to Venice, and we were like friends. We talked the whole flight, and she asked the pilots if I could go into the cabin after the flight. After I was greeted by the cabin crew, I went to find my seat, 32A. I came in from the front door, so I had to walk there, but finally, I found my seat. The plane was also clean, and the legroom was okay for me. Then they did the safety demo, and we started taxing. It was a very short taxi to the runway, and we took off. but one downside was that we were 10 minutes late.

Food, In-flight ENTERTAINMENT

As we reached the crusie altitude, the catering started, and we ordered food. We ordered the lasagne, which was very good. Don't judge how it looks; it was very tasty. When I finished my food, I went to see the cabin crew. We talked about our last flight, and they let me even sit in the cabin's crew jumpseat, and already after that, it was descent time.

Descending, Landing, Taxi, Deboarding

The sun was setting when we were descending over Estonia, and I saw one of the most beautiful things ever: the snow over Estonia was wonderful, and the ice in the baltic sea. As we descended over Estonia, we flew over Ämari Airbase, which was very cool. After we flew over it, we were greeted by the Estonian city ''Tallinn''. We landed on Runway 08, which made it more beautiful. When we landed, the sun was about to go down, and sure enough, it was already down when we were leaving the airport. When we got to the gate, I waited for everyone to deboard the plane, and then I went to the cockpit door, and the cabin crew said that I could go into the cockpit. I was greeted by the first officer, and we talked about the flight for about 5 minutes. You really can't be there long because they have fast boarding times. Then we deboarded the plane and went to the terminal via airstairs; we didn't have to go through passport control. I wanted to see how my plane would take off, so we stayed in the terminal and waved it, then we headed out of the airport.

We left the airport and went on a bolt taxi. It was not cheap but not expensive either; it was like 10 euros to get to my house from the airport, but if you want a cheaper way, you can always get to the city with the bus, numbers 2 and 15 to Kesklinn.

Sorry for not having many pictures here because i forgot to take them.

Nice to see a report from TSF because that's the only direct connection between my hometown airport of TLS and Venice at the moment so I've been wondering if it's a big hassle or not, compared to VCE.

Then we saw a taxi, and we went on. It was 50 euros for my family of 4, and it was also a lot faster than the bus, so I highly recommend the taxi.

Oh, good to know! 50 EUR isn't really bad at all, considering the distance. I was expecting something more like 100EUR. That makes Treviso a bit more attractive, as I don't like buses in general.

The Lasagne never looks great on photos, but most everyone says it tastes good, which is the most important. Beautiful views on landing in Tallin!

    Thanks for sharing!
