Back in December, I flew on Jetstar's a321neo. Although Jetstar has a bad reputation in Australia, I liked the overall expereince. The flight was on time, smooth and comfortable.
Unfortunately, I couldn't take any photos of the airport, but I will share my experience. Gold Coast Airport was a spacious and clean regional/domestic airport. It had the usual check-in desks, security and the airside, which has lots of shops and restaurants. Since this was a rather early flight, I decided to eat breakfast at the airport. And in no time at all, it was already time to board.
Boarding commenced at around 7:10am, passengers boarding from the front and rear left hand side door. Since Jetstar only has economy class seats on it's a320 and a321, boarding started at once with no particular order or anything. My seat was 21a, a window seat, in the middle of the cabin.
Jetstar a321neo, as mentioned, is in an all economy layout in the standard 3-3 layout, with each seat having with a width of 18 inches wide and have a pitch of 29".
These seats are rather slim, maximizing legroom. The seat comes with a literature pocket at the top, with a device holder below it. There is a tray table below that and a small seat pocket underneath. The seat has no headrest, but it can recline to a descent amount.
Unfortunately Jetstar is a low cost carrier, meaning you have to pay for food and drinks. Jetstar offers a good amount of drinks, snacks and hot meals on it's domestic flights, although some items may be slightly costly. I wasn't very hungry since I ate at the airport, so I just bought a can of Solo lemonade which costed me $4.

After drinking my Solo and enjoying the beautiful view out the window, there wasn't much to do and I eventually drifted off to sleep. During the flight, I saw many people watching movies on their own devices, some people reading and sleeping.

Like I said, Jetstar is a low cost carrier, so there's no inflight entertainment. There's no IFE screen, wi-fi or magazines. So I recommend you to download movies and games, so you can enjoy them on your Jetstar flight.
Overall, this, was a fine flight. I personally enjoyed it! Jetstar is basically a "pay for what you get" airline, so if you want to fly more luxury, then I recommend you to fly Qantas. Other than that, the price of Jetstar flights are quite cheap and it still gets you from point A to point B.
