Hello and welcome to my flight report, which covers my trip to Brazil! This flight is on TAP Portugal A330 CS-TOM, from OPO to GIG.Flight time of this flight was 10 hours and 15 minutes.Quite long..
Arrival at the airport, after check in and security.A TAP A319 arriving at Gate number 33.
After immigrations, the beauty was already waiting at the gate.Departure gate for today is Gate 12.Aircraft - TAP A330-202. Reg - CS-TOM Vasco da Gama , delivered 5 Feb 2008.
Boarding started by rows , I was the last row to board because I was at the very front of economy section. Love this plane!
Massive!
CS-TOM. TAP tail is really nice.
Onboard.TAP new cabin product onboard A330's.They changed the IFE recently, it looks really gorgeous, but it was only on after takeoff. The seat was comfortable, nice legroom and footrest (not so common nowadays).A blanket, a pillow and earphones were already in the seat.
As you can see, the cabin is modern. Flight was really full on both classes (Business and Economy).Which I believe there are a lot of people going on holiday to Brazil at this time of the year. Announcements were going on, welcoming passengers on board , to buckle up, stow the luggage in the bins,etc..
We taxied only a for a couple of minutes, and took off from rwy 35.
Somewhere over the Atlantic..
Still in the Atlantic…
Getting closer to Brazilian Air Space.
Quite far from Rio..
Entering in the Brazilian Air Space.
Over Brazil..
Approach in Rio de Janeiro. Quite turbulent approach.
Close to landing.
After landing , saw some beauties parked at the airport.
Arrival gate. We felt the hot when we got of the plane!Really hot comparing to Portugal..

Long-haul TP reports are very rare, glad to hear you had a good experience with them!
