This is my first report here. That is a reason I do not have many pictures and whatever I have are salvaged from my laptop!
I am an Indian student studying and living in the United States and last December was the first time I flew home in a year for the holidays. There weren't a lot of options as everything was full and the ticket I could find was on Air France on the routing JFK-CDG-DEL. It was my first time on Air France and is probably my last one as well!
Here is a quick description:
JFK-CDG: AF 023, Airbus A330-200
CDG-DEL: AF 226, Boeing 777-300
This was my first time transiting through JFK and it was kinda okay. There isn't much to do in T1 and the infrastructure looked old and outdated.
The Airbus A330-200. It could easily be the oldest plane in the fleet. I was terrified whenever there was turbulence but maybe that was just my excitement about going home ;)
The controls for the IFE. It was pretty receptive I must say.
The IFE screen size is appalling. The resolution was not good enough but the content was good. There was a good selection of world cinema which is always nice.
The menu for the flight.
I had the beef shepherds pie with white wine. The only best part of the dinner was the salad and the tiramisu. The shepherds pie was bland and the serving was small. The bread could easily pass as a rock and I have nothing to say of the fruit compote. I liked the wine though.
The 'breakfast' served an hour before landing. Sigh.
PARIS!
Charles de Gaulle is easily one of the most expensive airport. I sure am not paying 15 euros for a plastic wrapped sandwich, no thank you.
My connection time was around 4 hours. While the restrooms were somewhere between relatively clean to absolutely disgusting, they were very few of them around the terminal (2E).

Seat pitch seems to be normal from what I can see.
The main doesn't look too appealing to my eyes. At least the salad seems to be better than LH's offering on my MUC-DEL (FR available) flight. The dessert looks nice as well.
That's actually a good amount of pictures considering you only took them because you loved planes!
Well, at least you got your luggage lol. One of our luggages on Qatar Airways (DAC-DOH-ARN) never arrived (almost a year has passed).
Well done on this report considering you had not discovered FR at that time.

The seat was good and I had no problems catching a few hours of sleep.
The salad and the dessert were the only good ones. What was strange was that it was the same salad on like all the flights!
Ugh! And it is supposedly the 5 star airline. Sorry for your baggage though.
