For this flight I was seated in the Comfort room which is a class between economy and business. (2-4-2 instead of 3-4-3 for economy class.)
Nice personal screen but unfortunately can't discuss about the movie and entertainment available since the screen was out of service during all the flight. Same problem appeared for 2 rows on the left side so a bit deceiving for a long day flight..
Just seated in the plane we got an orange juice or water served really appreciated.
Here we go! Take off from Hong Kong on time and it was a bit cloudy as often in HK but managed to take some nice pictures.
We flew over the old HK airport.
The flight plan today will lead us over China, Mongolia and Russia before landing in Moscow. Excepted Shenzhen we will not fly over major big cities but Chinese and Mongolian deserts instead.
Drink came after take off, selection of soft drinks and red or white wine and the meal served at 12.40 but unfortunately just the fish option was remaining. The food was excellent but no extra drink served.
Second meal served at 17.45 : good and quantities are more than enough.. Same as the first meal, the quality of the food was really good.
Overall it was a Very calm flight with no weather turbulence to mention.
Sheremetyevo Airport before landing
Very soft landing at SVO on a sunny afternoon in Moscow!
The on board service was minimal and I felt the cabin crew is just doing their job with no special motivation and interest. The service is not as good as the Middle Eat airlines.
However the seats were very comfortable and convenient for tall guys, with a output USB port and 2 universal plugs for computers.

Thanks for sharing your first report here and this is also the first report on SU's Premium Economy! The seat is the same one that AF and AZ use. I've flown on this seat many times and find it quite comfortable, though hard to sleep---but as this was a day flight, this is not a problem. There have been a few reports on SU lately and once again, I'm pleasantly surprised by the high level of service. The meals look really good and appear to be an good upgrade from Economy catering. As you've probably notived, horizontal (landscape) pictures work best for the site. Thanks again for sharing this First (3 firsts) report!

The meals are definitely good and match the expectations of something better than just a Y class meal.
Did you get any compensation about the IFE ?

Catering looks strong. I'm surprised that both meals were very full trays, normally one meal is smaller than the other. Looking at the menu, I find it strange that the proteins were the same for both meals: chicken or fish. Is this common for SU?
I felt the cabin crew is just doing their job with no special motivation and interest.

@KL651 : I did not ask for. Actually when I asked the crew why it was not asking she proposed me to move to an Eco Seat (ard row 50)... This seat was located just besides the toilets. It was not really delicate.
@NGO : I didn't pay attention to that but you are right.
