After the bad luck of missing a flight, breaking my other camera, nearly breaking my laptop from spilling coke on it (screen flickered turned off a lot but dried out so is ok)
Time for a bit of good luck, Eva air 777-300er.
It's a lot simpler to get to Taoyuan airport than narita and only $5 on the nice bus for a 30 min freeway ride.
I arrived and check in was immediate, i was economy but the elite class check-in girl welcomed me with a nice smile.
I asked if i could take a picture and she offcourse let me with a smile.
I went to departues where it was very efficient and was through within 6 mins. I had bought a selfie stick (don't worry it's for attaching to my tripod to get above the bushes at hong kong on the mountain to film the plane spotting with atc videos)
So I was told the selfie stick was too long and had to check it in, the security guy was very friendly about it and explained there's a limit on length, it was very long and could be used as a weapon.
So i went back to check that in, he even got a box for me and double taped it to make sure it wouldn't get damaged.
Got through immigration quick and departure hall awaited.
I went straight to the gate where the 777 was just being pulled in.
I rank Taipei airport above Narita by a long way as there's lots of places to buy drinks for a good price and just pretty.
Out of Hong Kong very quickly, bags took a bit long though at 10 mins. After clearing arrivals at 3:15 i was at Wan Chai by 4:40pm by taking the S1 bus to Tung Chung and getting the normal train from there

Taoyuan Airport has got great, great, great service - I confirm that. It may not be the most glamorous airport but it's really one of my favourite! I do agree that it's actually quite easy to get to Taoyuan Airport, the bus services are really convenient, cheap, and comfortable.
Although you didn't comment about the food, but from the looks of it, the meal looks good for a short flight like this. Thanks for sharing.

i liked it, they forgot to put peanuts on the plate but doesnt matter i dont like peanuts
Only in Asia can you get a full meal in Economy on a short 1.5 hour flight! Looks quite good even. Thanks for sharing!
