I left causeway bay on the MTR train and headed to tung chung and then got the S1 bus to the airport.
As eva air isn't based here i didn't check in luggage as you can't check in until 2 hours 40 before so i just printed the card at the hotel and went through to departures and had a mcdonalds and stayed in the airport from 10am-9pm filming lots for my youtube.
Security was quick and so was immigration but they never seem happy at immigration unless they're chatting to their collegue and then the bad attitude look comes back on for the next passenger after they've had their laugh.
it was funny that aviation fuel tank farm is a stop
Considering its hong kong i thought they'd know to put 21st
I thought it was very strange again on this airline, going out to hong kong and back.
They give the food out but don't come past with a drinks trolley, i find that a bit funny, you have to press the call bell and they will get the drink for you. They come down 10 mins later with a pot of tea
The cabin crew were cute as…well apart from a moody cabin crew woman who was a bit sarcastic when i was filming out the window from the aisle, she seemed to not want to walk past and got moody about it and gave me a dirty look and said may i and then still looked annoyed walking past. She was similar the whole flight.
I didn't feel the wow facter on the food especially since it was a hello kitty flight i thought it would be more fun. Nice cabin crew though.
And as always for me, the flight was delayed.

immigration was quite long at 11:30pm
4K video of Virgin 787 at hong kong airport i did.

Thank you for sharing this FR with us!
Must've been pretty cool to fly on a Hello Kitty-themed plane!
Seat comfort looks decent with an old IFE system, the meal seems to be pretty standard as well.
Overall it looks like you had a decent flight with BR.
See you!
