This is the second part of my return trip from Florida. After about three hours of stop-over in Madrid I left for Rome.

After the security checkpoint and the passport control for transferring passenger my family and I proceeded to the Gate Area E.
Nice model of Terminal Internacional (current Terminal 2)
Air Europa A330
Time to eat…Montaditos
The airport is endowed with many nice shops.
This area is close to Gate E in the old Terminal 3, now base with Terminal 2 for UX European and domestic routes.
Our gate (E78)…
…and our plane
Waiting for the flight to board I spotted this beautiful Avianca 787-8 just landed from Bogotá
Norwegian.com B737-800 dedicated to Swedish painter Carl Larsson
Emirates Whale-Jet parked at Terminal 4S
Boarding started on time. While on board I gave the flight-report form to the Purser, but the Captain won't fill it. Not bad considering I have 787 reports and I visited cockpit.
Terminal 2 while taxiing.
2 Air Europa A330s, LOT Charters B737 and Lufthansa (A321 ?)
Terminal 4S with a great line-up of Iberia's planes
After the take-off I fell asleep. My sister woke me up just for the landing in Rome but I was forceless to take photos.
R(h)ome sweet home
Even if the airport was still a bit messy for the fire broke out in Terminal 3 in May, I found the refurbished parts quite well-done.
The duty-free area on my way to Baggage reclaim
Line-up of Alitalia's A320s and KL 737 in the background.
Crowded baggage reclaim area
See you at the next flight!!!
