My flight has a stop en route to Anchorage at Prudhoe Bay.
I did not notice yesterday there was a jet bridge in SCC. But only for the oil charter companies: Mon vol retour fait un escale à Prudhoe Bay avant de continuer vers Anchorage.
Boarding is really slow, the flight is scheduled to be fully booked. The first 10 passengers were aboard very soon but then nothing else happens. From my window I see that the terminal building is empty. In fact, a bus with 30 workers was running late and we are waiting for them.

Very powerful take off and once we reached our cruising altitude, the bar service began. Alcohol was flowing through the cabin :)
Alcohol is not permitted in Prudhoe Bay: partly for safety reasons, and partly out of deference to the native Eskimos, most of whose villages are dry.
There is no alcohol service on flights to SCC. But on return flights, it's free flow, open valve, let's go … ^^
I have never ever seen a crew selling that much alcoholic drinks. My seat mate drunk 6 Jack Daniels, the guy on the aisle 8 beers. Incredible.
I decided to stay with an apple juice :) And forgot to take a picture ^^
My seat mate told me a joke about SCC: there's a woman behind every tree. Of course, it's so far north that there are no trees at all. Still there are a few female workers, less than 5% of the workforce there.
We landed on time in ANC, here's the bag pick up zone:
