Hellu everyone. This is my first flight report based on British Airways Premium Economy. I apologise for the lack of photos, but I promise the next time I write a report, there's gonna be a youtube vid and abundant photos.
Despite saying that, this report is gonna be split in three sections.
Seats
The seat itself isn't too bad at all. The width of the seat is 18.5" and 8" recline, which was .5" wider and 3" greater recline. I suppose it's good enough for long haul flights.
The recline definitely made a difference. I could sleep MUCH better, and the seat is kinda comfy, considering the price. The width didn't make a difference, nor did the footrest, but my seat (60 D, upper deck) was great because it offered more space (I would really recommend that seat). For sitting up, it's not bad. For sleeping, it's not bad either.
Food and Services
Prior to departure, the FAs served welcome drinks, which I thought was a nice gesture. Champaign, orange juice and water was offered. The service here wasn't great. I mean, it was bland and dull, but it wasn't very offensive. Well at least, not during this service.
Mid-flight, I felt a bit cold, so I asked one of those male FAs on board if I could get an extra blanket. He rolled his eyes, and said in a very sarcastic tone, 'Sorry, but did you expect me to rob a blanket from another passenger?'. I am not going to lie, I was really pissed when I heard that. But I was also very cold and tired, so I simply replied with a hint of dissatisfaction. First of all, I didn't know there wasn't enough blankets on board, and it would be nice if the FA could just tell me that first. Second of all, the sarcastic tone and all was totally unnecessary. All i asked was for a blanket, and I didn't know they ran out of blankets. I was cold, and that's the first thing I could do.
Throughout the flight, the service was just bland. No smiling, no 'enjoy your meal', no 'here you go sir' or anything. Again, wasn't actively offending me, but was just boring, and you'd have expected more.
Next up is food.

The Menu
I remember choosing the fish, which wasn't too bad. I didn't take a photo of it though (sorry!!!), but I can tell you it's kinda good. Everything else was boring but filling.
Entertainment
One of the best things on the flight was the entertainment. It was great. There were collections of classic movies like Goldfinger or Goldeneye (2 of my favourite bond movies), whereas there were also recently released movies, and I find that very nice. I'm pretty certain everybody could find a movie they'd like. The screen was apparently 60% bigger, which I didn't quite notice the difference.
Breakfast was unremarkable, so I didn't bother review it. But it was light and fast, which was good.
And here I conclude my first flight review. Thanks for reading! My next report with be on Air Canada's premium economy, which will be released in August, so see you there!

Conclusion

British Airways Premium Economy or World Traveller Plus is a great product, with the seat recline being a nice upgrade. The footrest design was really weird, and the wider seat didn't make a great difference, the space was another thing that made the seat better then World Traveller, proving that World Traveller Plus is an obvious cut above the usual economy class. Service was a huge and insulting disappointment, but the food and the entertainment made up for it. Overall, World Traveller Plus is worth it's money. One advice, however, is to never pick a fight with the FA, because it's not worth it.
