Hello,
Two weeks ago I did an overnight flight in Premium Economy from Point a Pitre (Guadeloupe) to Paris.
Check In was quick and very friendly at one of 3 dedicated Sky Priority counters.
I was really happy about this as the queues at regular check in were extremly long.
Security though Sky Priority Fast Track lane also worked great and was finished quickly compared to the long lines at regular security check due to hundreds of tourists ready to fly back to France on one of the different flights departing within the next hours.
After some quick visit to the limited choice of shops I reached my boarding gate where boarding has already started.
Nobody in front of me in Sky Priority lane, so I was though within one minute and on the jetway.
I boarded through door 1L and passed the 2 rows mini cabin of Business Class to take my 7H aisle seat in Premium Economy.
Due to no window pictures are limited for this report.
This is a shot of the Premium Economy seats. They are quite comfy while seating but getting sleep is difficult due to the very limited recline due to the fix shell construction and the strange position of the leg rest which does not get high enough for my needs.

Overall I prefer the Premium Economy seat of Lufthansa much more as I think it offers better recline and a more relaxed seating and sleeping position.
In addition the feeling with Lufthansa is much more roomier and open by not using those fixed shells.
A very friendly female flight attendant took care of the Premium Economy cabin.
During boarding she distributed special Premium Economy amenity kits, newspapers and magazines.
Also a pre departure beverage was offered with choice between champagne, juice and water where I opted for the juice.

Boarding took very long so we pushed back with a delay of around 30 minutes.
During taxiing hot towels were distributed.
After a smooth take off service started with the distribution of menus which was followed by an aperitif service from the trolley.
I opted for a nice glass of champagne.

Half an hour later it was time for dinner which also tasted good. Main dish was some shrimps with noodles.

It was very nice that real glasses and porcelain was also used for the complete Premium Economy main service.
This is not the common routine on Premium Economy with Air France but only an exception on their 'domestic' flights to French oversea departments like in the Carribean.
I watched one movie on the quite old and mediocre touch screen and then tried to get some hours sleep.
I ended up with less success for sleeping and was happy when a small breakfast finally was served one hour before landing.
Hot towels were distributed again before meal was served.

In the end we arrived at Orly with a delay of 45 minutes.
Thanks a lot for reading,
FlyAlex
Thank you for this new report.
Please next time, remove the aluminium foil of the entrée :)
It's very surprising to have a superior soft product in Premium Economy for COI french destinations when it is inferior in Economy and "adapted" in Business.
Yes I will try to remove foil next time before taking the picture ;)
And indeed it is strange why they go for this soft product and enhanced meal service on those french flights.
In my opinion they should go for this kind of meal service on all their Premium Economy flights worldwide. It is perfect for Premium Economy.
