Hello everyone
Welcome to a flight report from Abu Dhabi to Paris, I was expecting to fly a Boeing 777-300ER and I booked a very good seat, but at the last minute I discovered that it changed to an Airbus A340-600, but fortunately they still gave me a good seat and an excellent window view with the 2 engines of the wing. Also, this is the first FR I wrote so do not expect quality photos because I am mostly focused on recording the flight from taking photos, so please do not judge if my photo isn't clear enough.
PRE-FLIGHT AT AUH
Arrived at the airport 2 hours and a half before the flight, time to Check-in my luggage in the Etihad Airways Business Class Check-in counters.
The Etihad Business Class Lounge located in the corner of the hallway across Gate 35, it provides many facilities such as STYLE&SHAVE, SIX SENSES SPA and more.
Here is what I ate in the lounge:

Expresso Coffee
My main course: Chicken and Beef Sausages with Potaoes and Hummus
My dessert: Slices of watermelon.

Time to board our bird. THe boarding was delayed 20min after the scheduled departure time.
Here is my seat: 12A, it is a very confortable seat.
An awesome window view with the 2 engines.
We lift-off the Emarati ground at 4:02 AM (1hr 50min delay).

Thanks for sharing you first FR here with us! I love that you can get a haircut and a shave at the Etihad lounge. In the end it's not so bad that your aircraft was switched to an A340. I love A340s and they are becoming so rare, so it's cool to still have opportunities to fly on them. Welcome to Flight-Report!
