Its useful and very easy to use, you just have to scan your boarding pass

For me, I have mastercard credit card from Emirates NBD so I got free access to MARHABA LOUNGE. It was breakfast time and the lounge was full.
The quality of the food was good, and the staff were friendly. free WiFi available.

Conclusion

Waiting in the passport check area in Casablanca Airport was almost 1 H :(, also the same story when comming back to dubai
However I like this route Dubai to casablanca direct with Emirates. better than Sharjah - Istanbul - Casablanca with low cost Air Arabia where there is 0 entertainement on board.

You were unfortunate to get an aircraft equipped with the older cabin, the catering looks good for a flight of this length though.
