Hello,
Thanks for joining this report of my Volotea flight from Greek island of Mykonos to Munich.
The airport terminal of Mykonos is very small and old without any air condition so it was very warm inside.
There were two Volotea check in desks. After ca. 5 minutes in the queue I got to the desk where a baggage tag was put on my luggage.
However you then have to take it down from the belt again and bring it to the other end of the terminal where each passenger regardless of airline has to drop the tagged luggage then.
Security control was quick and I ended up in the very warm and totally crowded waiting hall which consists of just three gates.
Actually the waiting area has nothing great to offer. There is a small kiosk and a small duty free shop.

Boarding started 15 minutes late and soon I was on a bus that brought us to our nice Volotea Boeing 717 which looked splendid in the nice sunshine of Mykonos.

The friendly cabin crew greeted us on board and I took my window seat 8A.
I found the seat pitch to be totally fine and actually very comfortable for our 2 hours 25 minutes flight to Munich.
Actually seat pitch on this low cost airline was better than with many legacy carriers.
Welcome announcements and safety demonstration were conducted in English only and we soon had a great takeoff into the blue and clear sky while having some nice views of Mykonos.

After we reached our cruising altitude the friendly cabin crew ladies distributed menus to those passengers who were interested.

I bought a tomate and cheese sandwich together with a can of Coke zero. This meal deal was 7 EUR in total which is acceptable.
The sandwich tasted quite good actually.

We crossed Europe - flying conditions and weather were superb. At the northern end of the Alps we started our descend into Munich.

We had some very nice views including that one of the lake Chiemsee in Southern Germany.

We touched down 10 minutes late and parked at a gate position directly at the terminal building.
Thanks a lot for reading.
