Hello everybody,
This flight to Muscat started at the new concourse D of Dubai Airport which is very nice.
This morning it was quite empty and very relaxed with a nice range of shops and restaurants.
This is the bright corridor leading to my departure gate.
Boarding started totally on time and was very well organized.
I settled into my window seat and the occupancy of the flight would be only around 20%.
So many empty seats around me and a very nice and calm atmosphere.
Seat pitch is fine but could be a little bit more.
The friendly cabin crew distrbuted headsets while still parked at the gate.
Unfortuantely refueling took very long and we left our parking gate at concourse D with a delay of more than 30 minutes.
After quite a long taxi we finalled took off and enjoyed some excellent views of Dubai while turning towards direction Muscat.
We directly passed over Burj Khalifa:
Flight time would only be 40 minutes and the cabin crew quickly distibuted this nice snack box and a bottle of orange juice.
The snacks tasted very nice but it was almost impossible to finish everything before we started descending again.
So very quickly we approached Muscat and safely landed after this very short hop.
