Was planning to fly A340-200 someday and this was the last chance. Booked ticket a week before the trip.
Was tracking AR from EZE, checked that it was running late by an hour. Originally, flight was to depart at 12.15. Below is the trip report in photos and video.
Full Trip Report

Note : Aerolineas Argentinas's (AR) last flight to Auckland. AR had serviced Sydney direct from Buenos Aires for few months, before air service was stopped.
Airport
AR did not have online checkin feature, Arriving at the airport on time, headed for check-in. I was not carrying much baggage for a few day trip to New Zealand.
After checkin, it was immigration and security, which was not busy at the time of the day.

Most passengers were flying to South America. I was among few who were travelling to Auckland.

Sun setting as the flight gets closer to NZ. Being winter, sunset was early.

Soon was time for arrival into Auckland. After series of turn, landed into Auckland.
It was cool outside and there was frost on the wings.

Knowing this was the last flight of AR to NZ, I asked the crew if I can take pic of the Condor class.
I was allowed to take photos.

Flight crew was very friendly. I chatted with him and then thanked and deboarded.

Everyone deboarded the flight. Saw the crew again at the immigration.
Immigration was easy as I don't need visa for New Zealand. Was welcomed to NZ by the immigration offer and wished a pleasant stay.
Baggage collection didn't take long. I passed the quarantine without any issue.
Exiting
Went out to the car hire to pick the rental car. I had booked the hotel close to airport, took me 5 mins to get there.
