Hello everyone
I wrote a report for GVA-DUS, and here's the way back. After a 2 day meeting, time to get back home. I had a long drive to the airport, as the meeting was quite far away. I reached the airport at around 16h45, so really early, but as there was over 100km to drive, I wanted to be on the safe side. I entered the Terminal at the A gates, and proceeded to the Check-In counter. Packed in Economy, so I used the Priority Desks. I had done my check in on my mobile phone, but with EW, I just can't do anything to enter my Miles and More number while checking in Online. SO I go to the counter to get my boarding pass, whith then allows me to go to the Priority Lane for Security.
That was a good move, cause it proved to be useful later :)
A quick dinner, as I was gonna get home only at 9pm with no dinner for me, so better grab something here. Then I went through security. Packed like I had never seen it. The line was going on two direction, well before the Boarding Pass Control station. Priority Lane for me, and it took me only 5 minutes to get through. I guess there was at least 30 minutes waiting time otherwise…

Terminal is totally packed, no idea what's going on today. Maybe it's because there's a big convention in Düsseldorf. Or at least that's what I heard.

Direct to the lounge

Lounge is totally packed as well. Hardly any seats left, and agitation all around the place, near the drinks and food, of course.

So, I got time, so let's enjoy the smoking lounge and a little beer before trying to find a seat. Much more enjoyable than the public smoking lounge that's almost unbreathable.

A little selection of crackers and a Coke before getting going.

Nice view from the Lounge on the 1st Floor, to the terminal below

Flight came in from Prague, a little late, so even though boarding time was at 18:15, I left the lounge only at 18h40. Boarding was called at 18h45.

Exactly the same seat as on the way there, so I won't comment more. Still pretty pleasant and great legroom as it is an emergency Exit.
Push-back 17 minutes late, at 19:02

Safety demo done by the FAs, and then we rolled to the Rwy. Sorry for the bad quality of the pics, but it was all dark.

Line-up on the runway under pouring rain.
Takeoff in a lot of wind, so pretty shaking

In-flight meal, the usual sandwich and bottle of water, and candy pack. I got a drink after that. All of this included only in the Smart fare.

Uneventful flight, very smooth once we were higher up in the air. Service was perfectly fine, except that the FAs left us less that 10 minutes to enjoy our drink and meal. That was a little annoying.
Landing at 20:13, so 8 minutes late.

Deplaning through the jetbridge.

Ant through the corridors of Geneva Airport

All the way to the Duty Free on arrival, which is pretty handy

And through the baggage claim (as I had none)

And out in no time

Landed at 20:13 and in my car at 20:35. So that was pretty nice!
