Review of Ukraine International flight from Warsaw to Kiev in Economy

After 3 months break , i'am flying again
After IST i thought next episode would be TBS but finally i changed my plans
As my work schedule is quite flexible , it turns out that i had 40hours free during weekdays and nothing planned , so i decided to go to Ukraine before winter
Today i'am going to Kiev with Ukraine International Airlines
UIA have few reports (only in french) and the same about their hub KBP , so now you can enjoy and discover both

Head to Chopin airport , quite fastly today despite the traffic

Web check-in and mobile BP are available from Warsaw
Check-in done 48h earlier , no luggages but i just need to verify my seat and get a nice boarding pass as a souvenir (and also claim miles with FlyingBlue)

UIA is located in the sector B ,no one at counters , but iam 90 minutes before boarding , and our plane will be a 737-500 not an a380 so not so much pax to handle
Finally i got another seat , but still windows seat so i'am happy
Once done , i can go to the fast track

Airside , and something new in Chopin airport . Like in the malls , its nice if you don't know the place but this airport is not huge as Paris CDG

Then i need to clear immigration as its not a schengen flight

Passports control , full and crowded as usual

Went to change office , in order to get rid of zlotys in my wallet , that's clearly a scam , better do it in city center

And now , the lounge Bolero 20 minutes before boarding

Here is the food available , i'am not gonna kill my stomach with such poor offer

On the other hand , you can get drunk pretty well !!!

Taxing quite slow today . Weather as usual is rainy in warsaw

Seats are quite comfortable and wide , the pitch is also nice , you can feel that the plane is very old

Lets take a look to the BoB of PS , it reminds me my life in Czech republic where good beer is cheaper than water

I grabbed the aeroflot's magazine before check-in , this month the main topic is Hanoi , but they are talking again about Lyon , cause SU started flights 3 months ago

And also Praha , Bratislava , Budapest , Warsaw = Heaven on earth !

10 minutes later and a stamp on my passport , i'am free

No luggages to wait for , so exit straight … nothing to declare , then avoid the crowd of desperate taxi drivers , find the shuttle and reach the city center
