I have had always wanted to visit Taiwan. And since was given the chance time wise, I took it. Was able to find a really affordable round trip (Cebu - Taipei - Cebu) tickets on Air Asia. For only PHP6,000 or about US$120, this was a pretty good deal.
My flight left at 0655H so I was very early at the Mactan Cebu International Airport. I prepaid a window seat for only PHP90 or almost US$2. No food today though as this is an LCC and I anticipated to not being hungry while on the flight so I did not prepay any food at all. :)

This is how the check in counters look like. This airport is a bit old however a new terminal is being built and is finishing in early 2018.
For Filipinos traveling abroad, we do have to pay PHP1,620 or US$32 as a Travel Tax. :(
And for all departing passengers out of this airport, a terminal fee of US$750 or US$15 must be paid. Hoping this will be included in the tickets soon.
