Arrived the night before from HKG via CX. Booked one night at a hotel near the airport for about US$40. Just room, no breakfast. Just enough to crash for the night.
The following day, woke up a bit late. Then I took a walk from the hotel to the surroundings.
There was not much to see in this area called Hulhumale.
Except some normal (?) looking sidewalks.
And some beach views.
And more sidewalks I guess. :-)
And then at about 4PM, headed to the airport and took a photo of the city of Male which is overlooking Male Airport.
In case you need to leave a luggage at the airport, it is about US$6 for 24 hours.
Some benches outside of the airport as you are unable to get in until check - in time (small airport). It was humid and warm.
Then hunger strikes again. My usual order - Fish & Crisp at about US$10.
Checking DFS area out.
A couple of shots of a China - bound flight.
Same old boring looking gates. :D
Again, doing my "lav" tradition. Clean, tidy and nice smelling.
Some cabin shots. There were a number of movies, games and music available.
Sadly, slept throughout the flight and missed the meal. :(
Arriving into AUH and onward to my flight to AMS.
