I am taking holidays from 08 July 2018 to about 25 July 2018 and am going to The Philippines.

Prior to leaving, I had dinner the night before at this wonderful resort.

The following day, I took an hour speedboat from the resort to the airport. Upon arriving, I was too sleepy and hungry hence these. Coffee costs US$3 while the meal costs US$10.

Having enough time before check - in, wandered around the airport vicinity and took some photos.

This is the seaplane company check - in area. There are resorts in The Maldives that are only accessible by seaplane.

There is also a small duty shop just outside of the check - in hall, indeed a small one.

About 2.5 hours prior to departure, proceeded to security check and then I checked - in. Here are some snaps of the check - in counters.

After getting my BP (one for HKG and one for CEB), I proceeded to Immigration (which took 10 minutes) and onto final security check (which took only 5 minutes).

Finally, boarding was called which was on time. As soon as I was settled on my seat, I checked the lav out - clean, tidy and smelt good.

And then took the train to the city; bought a round trip ticket for HK$105 (or about US$15).

Conclusion

A great flight overall, although I would have appreciated a second meal as it was an almost 7 hour flight...
