Today we are flying on VA436 from Sydney Kingsford Smith Domestic Airport (SYD) to Adelaide Airport (ADL) with Virgin Australia's B737-800. The flight today was scheduled to depart SYD at 18:15 and expected to arrive in ADL at 19:55. The flight departed at 18:20 instead and arrived at 19:40 instead, earlier than originally planned. The Registration of this B738 was VH-VUX. Do take note that there is a large number of business commuters on this flight because it departs just after the work-day ends, for those who are flying to South Australia for business meetings.

Seating:
The seating was comfortable for me and I'm 5' 7. I still had at least half a hand space between my knees to being pressed against the seat in front of me. 17A is a window seat and I had gorgeous views of the sunset and twilight while climbing out of Sydney turning to head north-west (ADL). The seat-back pocket had some opened wrappers which looked like it hadn't been cleaned out for quite a while.

Service:
Service was just good, nothing better. Flight attendants were friendly amongst themselves making jokes and all, but not with the passengers. Refreshments were served in an adequate and timely manner given that the flight had been just over an hour and a half.
Entertainment:
The flight crew were promoting VA's inflight wifi and entertainment app via your own personal device, but you had to download it before the flight which I was not aware about. Other reading materials in the seat-back pocket contained the standard the in-flight magazine, vomit bag, safety card and food menu.

Food:
Complimentary refreshments were served mid-flight consisting of a pack of potato chips and the option of free juices and sodas. There was also the option to purchase something more substantial from the in-flight food menu.
