Welcome to my Flight Report. In this report, I want to share with you about my trip back to Surabaya after spending a short vacation in Bali with Indonesia AirAsia. I decided to go to the airport at 6 p.m. and arrived at around 6.20 p.m. because the hotel where I stayed wasn't far away from the airport. After got off from the hotel airport shuttle, I entered the terminal building. I passed the security check and proceeded to the check-in counter which located on the first floor. Here are the photos.
After I checked my baggage and got the boarding pass, I went to the second floor where the shops and boarding gates are located. After riding the escalator, there are another security check. After it, you can see a large informative screen, then the shops and the restaurants. Here are the photos.
I checked the FIDS and noticed that my flight would be departing from gate 4, so I went to gate 4 and waited there for my flight.
After few minutes, I was bored and decided to walk around the terminal to explore it. I went to check gate 1A, 1B, and 1C which are located at the end of the terminal building. I found that there are no shops near gate 1A, 1B, and 1C and it felt empty because there was only a coffee shop and there were no flights departing from gate 1A, 1B, and 1C at that time (I don't know why, but I think those gate are dedicated for Garuda Indonesia flight and there were only few flights for Garuda Indonesia at that time, so Garuda Indonesia used gate 2). As I walked back to Gate 4, I found a reading corner.
Once again, I checked the FIDS and noticed that my flight would be departing from gate 3 instead of gate 4 due to aircraft parking movement, so I went to gate 3 and waited there until the boarding call.
At 8.55 p.m., I heard the boarding call and followed by the last call because the passenger for my flight weren't so much. After the airport staff scanned my boarding pass, I boarded the aircraft.

Here are the photos of PK-AXJ cabin. The advertisement about Thailand tourism on the seat headrest was interesting for me because it showed some Thailand interesting tourism spot.
After all the passengers boarded the aircraft, the flight attendant closed the door and the plane pushed back from the gate and taxied to the runway.
It was a long queue until my plane cleared for take-off because Ngurah Rai airport only have one runway. The airport handles a lot of flight because Bali is a favorite tourism destination for many people and its runway seems not enough to accommodate all the incoming and outgoing flight. Eventually, it causes a long delay for flight departing from Bali because we have to wait for many planes to land.

After the aircraft was in a complete stop and the flight attendant opened the door, I disembarked from the aircraft and proceeded to the arrival hall.
I collected my luggage, then I went to the overnight parking slot to pick up my car and left the airport to go home.
