Hi,
Security through a dedicated Business Class area in Terminal 2 was very quick this evening and I directly headed to the underground people mover to get to the satellite building because my flight would depart from a K gate today.
I had a quick small snack at the nice Lufthansa Business Class lounge in K gates area located in the satellite building.

Boarding started on time but as always priority boarding wit Lufthansa did not work well in Munich: I arrived after the dedicated priority boarding call has already finished so there was no way than queuing up because a huge mess of people had already formed around the gate and no priority lane was available. I never understand why it is so difficult for LH to put a separating sign/band at their gates just like Sky Priority of Sky Team works. It would make things so much nicer.
Soon I settled into my nice window seat 3A - nobody else in my row this evening. All in all Business Class consisted of 5 rows tonight with 10 passengers seated in it.
The cabin as always with LH felt quite modern and very well maintained. However I realized one more time how thin and rather uncomfortable those seats are. The seats in my opinion also are too short to sit on comfortable. However the pitch was totally fine.

Only service on the ground was the purser distributing pillows to those who wanted one - no pre departure drink or any similar thing.
After a manual safety demonstration we departed almost on time and made our way through the dark skies above Europe heading south to Lisbon. Flight time would be 2 hours 20 minutes tonight.
The plane feature wifi service against a fee but no entertainment streaming or similar things which would have been nice.
Service started very slowly about 30 minutes after take off - at least the curtains to Economy Class were closed properly most times during this flight. Very often on LH flights the curtains are not closed which leads to Economy passengers always queuing in Business Class for lavatory visit. A bad approach for Business Class in my opinion - however not on this flight :)
Finally the robotic and rather cold crew started drink service from a trolley. The flight attendant obviously tried to read each passenger's name from a list on the trolley and asking you by name about your drink choice. A nice idea but then please try making it not that obvious reading from a paper! I had a Campari orange with some nice nuts to start.

Drinks were soon followed by hot towels.

After that the purser rolled down the trolley again to serve meals. He mentioned a choice between 3 different manin courses: Asian vegetarian, chicken or fish.
I asked him if menus had been stopped by LH and he replied: Not at all - normally this flight would feature printed menus but unfortunately this flight had loading problems and no menus were loaded.
So I decided for the chicken and had some red wine with it.

The meal itself was very nicely presented and great tasting. It also featured proper cloth napkins and a double set of cutlery.

The purser came back for refills of drinks and warm breads from the basket before disappearing to help in Economy for quite a long time. I do not understand why LH is one of few airlines that do not manage to have a dedicated Business Class attendant for the whole flight like almost all other airlines do. I understand that the whole crew helps in Economy on shorter flights but there is no need for such on long European flights above 2 hours in my opinion.
Once the tray has been cleared away I asked for some tea and Baileys.

Some minutes later a huge chcocolate bar was given to each Business Class passenger as well - a nice surprise.

During descend the purser came around to offer another hot towel - very nice and never seen on a medium haul flight within Europe to receive two hot towels.
We landed on time and disembarked via bus on the apron.
