Background
This is my last flight from my trip to Milwaukee. I had another kind of long layover so after a ride from the B terminal to the D terminal, I did a bit of plane spotting and got something to eat.

I even caught a picture of the aircraft taking me to Gulfport this afternoon arriving from Asheville!

On the aircraft
Boarding was delayed a little bit as there were 23 people who booked basic economy fares that did not have an assigned seat yet and had to be assigned one. Once boarding started, it was fast, efficient, and priorities were respected.
When I arrived on the aircraft, I was greeted my flight attendants who were also playing music which was a nice touch. My seat today was 6A in the Comfort+ cabin. I am a tall person so the seat was very low for me but it did come with outlets which was a plus. The windows on this CRJ-900 were nice and large but a little dirty. One interesting thing about this aircraft was that there was no bulkhead or even curtain between first class and the rest of the plane. This allowed passengers in Row 5 to have lots of legroom.

We pushed out of the gate early and we were given an updated flight time of 55 minutes. Our takeoff was smooth and we were in the air a little after 5. Our takeoff allowed me to get a cool. air shot of the airport.

inflight services
There were 2 flight attendants onboard today with one in first and the other in Comfort+ and Economy. Inflight services started quickly as this was a short flight and I noticed that most of the passengers declined any service. I decided to get a ginger ale and some Cheez-Its. Unlike my flight before, the Cheez-Its on this flight seemed stale and were very hard.

Arrival
We prepared for our descent at about 4:45 P.M. C.T. and encountered some turbulence shortly after. Our flight landed at 4:59 P.M. C.T. which was much earlier than scheduled. Our landing was not gentle whatsoever and many passengers seemed to notice. We parked at gate 5, next to a United E145 going to Houston.

Welcome aboard! Glad to have someone else to help review US domestic flights! Excited that you will be traveling to Europe this month. I head out Monday for Europe.
