On July 5, 2019, I flew from San Jose, CA (SJC/KSJC) to Everett, WA (PAE/KPAE) onboard Alaska Horizon Airlines. I was on AS2741 operated by N620QX. This was my first time on board an Alaska E75L and my first time landing in Everett Airport. One of the main reasons why I decided to fly to Everett instead of Seattle was because just 4 months before, the airport began commercial service and one of its first destinations was San Jose. So I decided to give the new airport a try and not go to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA/KSEA) all the time.
Departed Gate 28
Arrived Gate 2B

Before pushback. Here is a shot from inside of the airplane a few minutes after I boarded the airplane.
Takeoff. Took off Runway 30R from SJC. Here is a view of San Jose, California and Silicon Valley when departing. We were executing the TECKY THREE departure (right loop) out of SJC.
Cruising. I got an apple juice and Biscoff cookies.

On final Runway 34L at PAE.
Landing. We landed on Runway 34L at PAE.
Taxiing to Gate 2B. You can see some of the grounded Boeing 737 MAX airplanes at PAE.
After parking at Gate 2B. You can see N649QX next to us about to depart for SAN (AS2678).
Deplaning. We parked at Gate 2B, so there were no jet bridges.
Deplaned. First view of the passenger terminal at PAE. It looks absolutely beautiful and stunning! For me, it felt like a luxury airport.
Another view from the terminal.
In the end, I really enjoyed the flight and I was absolutely appalled at the new passenger terminal at Everett Airport. The passenger terminal inside the airport makes it look like you are in a luxury airport and its design makes the airport's ambiance beautiful! The airport was also very peaceful (mostly because not a lot of people fly there). The flight experience was also amazing because the flight crew was friendly and efficient. The takeoff from San Jose was very smooth and even though there were clouds and winds in Everett, the pilots managed to land the airplane fairly smoothly. The only problem I had with this airplane was that the WiFi was down and there was no in-flight entertainment available. This prevented me from doing things I would normally do on an airplane like chat with friends and surf the web. Overall, I would give this flight an 8/10.
