It was really exciting that I could book this flight at a normal price, for the flight SQ001 is used to be more expensive than the other flights to Singapore. SQ001 is a rather special flight, as it serves from San Francisco to Singapore, via Hong Kong, but allowing passengers to book the second route segment. I was once considered booking the SQ857 for my trip, which is one hour later to my flight, but after considering the comfortless and the interior products of the flight equipment, I finally decided to choose the SQ001, which is served with the 777-300(ER) with a 3-3-3 configuring, instead of the 777-200(ER) for SQ857.

The loading of my flight was't full, lot's of empty seats for this flight, I could occupy the whole row of seats, what a comfy! Besides, amenity kits were also there on every seats before boarding.
The IFE system was great, sensitive and entertaining, lot's of latest movie choices with different languages.

Breakfast: Traditional Chinese cuisine: dim sum, it was hot enough, but the taste was somewhat different from the dim sum I used to eat in the traditional Chinese restaurant, but generally they were good enough.

Thanks for sharing! Definitely appreciate that SQ have kept 3-3-3 on their 777s. With CX and BA having gone 3-4-3 recently...there are only a handful of carriers left who are maintaining 3-3-3. The cabin looks nice and new and the cupholder in the seatback is very convenient.
