Hello and welcome to my first flight report ! I'm in Catania Airport to take my flight Easyjet (EZS 1562) to Geneva. For the moment, no delay ! :)
Check-in is done and I just dropped my bag ! Let's head to the security check !
Alright ! Everything is ok. The airport of Catania is modern and clean !
After the security check, the gate area is a bit crowded. But we're in holidays period, that's maybe normal.
Gate 9. Let's head to te gate ! The announcement of the boarding was mentioned before the other passagers go out the plane. Sadly, passengers have to wait 30 minutes at the gate. It isn't a great boarding :(
It's a bus boarding. I don't like this type of boarding. It's long and passengers are so much tight in the bus. Often, there is no air conditioning on board.
Here is my plane. Registration : HB-JXK operated by EasyJet Switzerland. We had to wait another 10 minutes in the bus before passengers board in the plane. Definitly, it's a bad boarding and we had a delay of 20 minutes :(
So, I'm seating in the row 9 and I have two windows :D. The crew are nice and friendly !
The legroom is bad ! I prefer the classic airlines. There is more legroom and the seats are more comfortable. In conclusion, I don't like low cost airlines.

Welcome in Geneva, Switzerland ! Sadly, it's cloudy :(
So, our ride is finish with the Airbus A320. It was still a pleasure to fly with this aircraft !

Having too flown on Easyjet recently I can pretty much agree with much of what you said. And as you wrote, there are things that are just not as good as with legacy/full-service carriers, but LCCs are cheaper - so as long as they're reasonable operations and don't treat their customers (or employees) like garbage, I'm okay with that. I still prefer full-service carriers, though :D

Hi Flodsbto, thanks for sharing your first FR here with us! Legroom does look very tight indeed--would you mind sharing how tall you are to get a better idea of the legroom? Lovely views of Mt Etna on takeoff!

Hi Kevin ! I am 182 cm tall, so I'm maybe a bit too tall for the legroom of low cost airlines :D.
