Greetings and welcome to another flight report! Today, I will be heading home to DC via Lisbon on TAP Portugal. After a long-ish drive from Lourdes, I had arrived at TLS. There was an incredibly long line for check in/bag drop, which I couldn't bypass as I had bags to check. It took something like 30 minutes, moving at a snails pace.

After dropping my bags, I headed to security and went immediately to the lounge, La Croix Du Sud that I had access to thanks to my Priority Pass membership. I was quickly admitted and walked through the first floor section, which was small and bleak to say the least-I probably would've preferred the terminal to it.

Thankfully, there was an extensive upstairs portion which was much nicer. As for food options, they were limited to packaged items. I couldn't spend much time in the lounge as the flight's gate was about to close. I grabbed a cappuccino and left shortly after.

The airport has amazing views of the Airbus manufacturing plant and I had amazing views of not yet delivered planes in addition to the Airbus Beluga. I arrived at the gate as it was on final call. As I boarded, I walked through towards my seat.

I noticed the seats and (inactive) TVs and suspected the plane wasn't originally TAP's. I checked the registration and sure enough, it used to fly for Azul. We promptly pushed back and were shown the safety demo. We had a short taxi and soon were turning onto the runway.

I caught a glimpse of this Flybe E175 before the airline went bust.

On takeoff, I was greeted with more views of the Airbus plant in addition to the stunning French countryside. After leveling off, we were provided with a drink and a snack.

The rest of the flight was uneventful. I used the lack of entertainment as an excuse to finish reading a book.

Soon enough, we were landing in Lisbon and had amazing views of the city.

When we landed I caught a glimpse of some TAP A330neos as well as a SATA A321neo to name a few.

We took up almost all of the whole runway and continued to have the reverse thrust as we were turning off the runway. I was thankful to have seen a Joon plane as we were taxiing as the airline is now defunct. I disembarked and headed to the TAP Premium Lounge to spend my layover.
