Review of Vietnam Airlines flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang in Economy

Welcome to this new report between Saigon and Da Nang, Viet Nam.

I left you just arrived from our Phu Quoc VN flight. We wanted to print our BP (couldn't do that at PQC). But transfer staff told us we have to exit the airport, and then go to the check-in desk, and after recross all the security. Actually, there is no transfer route. As Ha Noi and Saigon majors hubs in the country, that's very bad.
The positive point was that it was fluid and quick, even if the customs were crowded:

It lasts 20minutes, which is correct

After customs, a window overlooks the streets

We enter in the airside part of the terminal in front of a old fids, beautiful, where my flight isn't displayed yet

A Ha Noi bound A350

There is wi-fi and drinakble water fountains, and many foodplaces, western or local foods, which is great. Despite the building is old and crowded, this place is great for a long wait.

Our flight is delayed, but at the origin scheduled for 3pm, so it is not displayed on this FIDS

Our flight is delayed, and re-scheduled at 4:20pm. The boarding began at 4:10pm by paxbus
The BP still are in cardboard which is nice.

The boarding is totally, free, we can walk around the aircraft on the tarmac.

The pitch still great, but the seat is not comfy, we feel like a wooden board in the back

Again an A350. I like the VN livery on it.

Then we have to wait for take-off. We're after this JetStar plane, since 30minutes

We are followed by a Kuala Lampur bound Malyasian 737, itself followed by many others

We are finally taking off at 5:25pm (instead of 3pm)

under a misty and polluted atmosphere

As far as the eyes can see, it's Ho Chi Minh Ville

Then we left this city, posed in the middle of the Mekong Delta

Munching little by little the vegetation

We head north, to Da Nang

the weather still cloudy

Then the catering is served: water or coke, I took coke

Outside, sun goes down, allowing a beautiful show

40min later, we started our descent. Landscapes are more mountainous here

We reach Da Nan plain

It looks like the little hills (what we call "mornes") we have in Guadeloupe!

We are entering Da Nang area,more than 1million inhabitants, the fourth of the country

Touchdown at 6:25pm

we exited the runway

And we go to the domestic terminal, beside others VN or VJ aircrafts

After 5minutes we already are landside and waiting for our luggages!

After that we went to take a taxi to go to Hue. We wanted to take the bus, but with the 2h delay, it was too late.
