Pre-flight
We had some airline credit (sound familiar?) for KLM and decided to use it for a trip to Gothenburg for a long weekend. Our itinerary had us fly KLM Cityhopper (operated by Stobart Air) from Dublin - Amsterdam and on to Gothenburg. When I went to check in, I spotted in seat selection that I could nab an upgrade to Business on the Amsterdam - Gothenburg leg for €49 and I jumped at it!

After a short coach journey to the terminal from our incoming Embraer 190 we went straight to the Crown Lounge, were checked in super quick and enjoyed a glass of Prosecco and some nibbles… we'd been up sine 04.00 so we figured it was ok to start on the fizz

Boarding was busy, and we had to bustle to get to the front to board first with our Sky Priority.

onboard/inflight
Aircraft: Boeing 737-700
Registration: PH-
Departure Time: 09.50
Arrival Time: 11.20
Seat: 1A
Operated by: KLM
The crew were very friendly and welcomed us on board. The cabin was presented really well and having come off a flight not operated by KLM I felt a real difference boarding this 737-700. Row 1 was spacious, with 2 windows, lots of leg room and a nice blue bulkhead with KLM signage and branding up front. I loved it!

Shortly after take off our inflight service began. We were served a cold tray of breakfast with a selection of hot breads and pastries. It was very tasty. We had (1) Cava to accompany, but were offered more. This was followed by a lovely tea/coffee service. For a flight of 90 mins I thought it was a really decent Business Class service.

We had some wonderful views as we flew over Sweden including a cityscape of Gothenburg city, it was all very nice.

Arrival
Arrival was on time and we pulled up beside a nice BRA (formerly Braathens) ATR, which was a nice visitor, and we caught the bus to downtown Gothenburg.
