Hi guys, this is just a short report of my journey from CPT to GRU via JNB. I started in the early morning at the Cape Town international airport. I like it as it is compact, great accessible, you park your car just a few steps from the terminal and also people are really nice. I arrived at around 6 AM to a baggage drop-off where there were a few couples already waiting to be checked-in. It was quick and efficient.
Slow Lounge
British Airways subsidiary Comair which operates flights for BA in South Africa uses the Slow Lounge in CPT. It is a superb lounge with huge food offer and a bar where you can have anything from coffee to champagne. I really loved this space as it is much better than many of international lounges. The only thing which you should take in mind is - there are no showers available in CPT due to water shortage…
The flight
There is really not so much to tell about. We were offered a bottle of water, the full service was provided and I went for eggs. The highligh on this flight and on every flight in South Africa was the cabin crew. They are the best in the world!

I always do some wine tasting and I recommend Mariane Wine Estate but if you like sparkling wine, you should definitelly come to J. C. le Roux!
And at the end you can enjoy the icecream made from prosecco!
