Introduction

TRain RidE to Airport
I arrived at Robina Station to catch train at 3:43 pm
Express train depart from Gold Coast to Brisbane Airport.

Train takes 2 h 7 min from Robina to Brisbane Airport.
Arrived at Brisbane Domestic Airport by 5:25 pm.
Check-In and Security
As I was carrying only a handbag, which was light, didn't take long to receive the boarding card. After receiving the boarding card, I headed upstair to clear security. Security queue was short and soon was in the departure area.

Waiting Area in Gate
Passengers had started to gather near gate.

Boarding
Flight being prepared to operate to Sydney.
Flight boarding was to commence from Gate 25.. Passengers boarding card was checked before being allowed to enter the aircarft.

Cabin view
Soon after entering the aircraft, I followed the seat number to the assigned window seat. The glass was not clear, hence no videos.
Pushback and Departure
Doors were closed after all passengers had boarded the flight and sat in assigned seats. Safety demonstration was conducted from the drop down monitors.
Pushback commenced and after a short taxi headed towards runway.

Seating
Seating on the Boeing 737-800 are 3-3 in economy. Seat were made of cloth.
Seat Pocket Material
Seat pocket contained the safety card, sickness bag and inflight magazine.

Seat entertainment controls in arm rest. No headphones were distributed.
Entertainment was through drop down panel.
Snack Service
Snack service started after achieving cruising height
Cookies with tea or coffee was offered to all passengers
Seat view
Seat spacing was adequate for me.
Window view
The glass was not clear with scratch marks. It being dark outside there wasn't much to view outside.
Arrival in Sydney
Soon it was landing time, Cabin crew cleared the snack rubbish. Captain came on mic and announced were are on approach towards Sydney. Heading from North, flight landed on runway 16R. After landing, a short taxi to Qantas terminal to arrive at disembarkation gate.
Exiting airport
After disembarkation, headed out to train station to catch train home.

Gold Coast light rail to the stadium.
Watched matches on Saturday
and Sunday matches. Final was Sunday evening which I had to miss due to work next day.
As the hotel was close to the beach near Surfers Paradise went to the beach in the morning.

Conclusion
Qantas was chosen for this short flight due to convenient timing. Queensland train trip was pleasant. Brisbane airport is accessible by train which made it idea choice to return later in the night. Sydney Airport was quick exit as I was travelling light for this trip. Overall had a enjoyable two days in the Sunshine state.
