Hi,
I reached deserted Hamburg Airport ca. 1 hour 15 minutes before take off. Check In & security was a breeze and the whole terminal really felt strange and lonely. Almost all restaurants & shops as well as all Lounges are closed.

Once airside I spotted my Lufthansa CRJ900 waiting for the flight to Munich:

The only other aircraft present was an Eurowings Airbus bound for Stuttgart.

I waited at the gate area where benches were put together in strange and ungly compositions to allow maximum distance between passengers.

Boarding was called soon without any special order and everyone just walked via the apron to our waiting regional jet.

At the aircraft entrance every passenger received a hygiene desinfection towel and should take one bottle of water from a trolley in the galley.

The flight ended up quite full for those Corona days in my opinion - load factor was around 60 percent.

As this flight to Munich was the last one of the day for Hamburg Airport no other aircraft was in sight.

We quickly taxiied out for an on time departure and took of for a flight announced to take 1 hour.

Curtains to Business Class were closed and the front cabin received the Standard Business Class service including meal & drinks from proper glasses. No service was provided in Economy Class on this flight - so I just used the bottle of water provided during boarding.
The flight progressed very calm without any turbulence and we started approach during a nice sunset atmosphere.

Once landed we quickly taxiied to a terminal position, parked next to another Lufthansa City Line jet and disembarked via the apron directly into Terminal 2 main building.
