Welcome to the very last part of this routing to a destination I never arrived :)
I had almost 90' to kill and went to the lounge, less to eat or drink but more to charge my electronic devices that were all about to die.
AMS was pretty quiet that evening:
The ladies at the front desk were smiling and welcomed me nicely.
I went to a table that had electrical and USB plugs available.
This is the hot food buffet, they called this "beef teriyaki" in fact it looked like everything but teriyaki ^^
Artichoke and olive pasta plus plain rice: (no but thank you)

I didn't take anything, just power for my devices.
Shortly before bording I made my way to the gate.
We were bussed to the plane:
It would be an E-75 tonight:
The door:
I had already flown with the purser and we both recognize each other. He would deliver an exceptional service tonight. Pro-active, always ahead of the requests, simply top.
Load factor was light in business since we were only two passengers.

The dinner is served, without surprise it is the same as for the AMS - BGO leg:

I only had the dessert since this was the only thing I liked.
The purser offered then hot drinks and digestive before taking the time to come to chat a bit about my terrible journey. We then discussed about his day that was also pretty long and he was really looking for the night stop break.
The flight ended super quickly, and here we are back in Basel:
Since the plane was parked at a non Schengen gate, we were bussed back to the Schengen doors:

The end of a hell of a day even for avgeeks. The J meals of KL are really appalling and it is not the Codorniu that will leave a better taste in your mouth. The good point is the level of the new crown lounge in AMS that finally looks like a lounge (even if sometimes crowded)
