Welcome to a quick trip to Budapest with my parents. This was their Christmas gift.
I did not look to far to chose the flights since EasyJet flies directly to BUD once a day (pre-COVID) with very good flight times and also a good price. Per person, the price was 50€, plus 40€ for speedy boarding and emergency exit seating.
The drop off was quiet that Friday late morning:

The new LCC terminal just opened and compared to the old one, it is a brand new world:
