Trip Report: JetStar Airways JQ571 Sydney to Melbourne
I'm writing this trip report from 2013. I flew to Melbourne to watch the airshow.

Check-IN and Security
This was a early flight, after the curfew lifts in Sydney. I arrived at the airport by train. Having booked the ticket early and checked online. I was able to complete check-in quickly.
Travelling light for a short trip, I completed security and was in the departure area.

Had my breakfast at the fast-food store. View while waiting. View from the food court.

After breakfast, I reached gate area and waited.
Boarding call was made, stood in queue to get the boarding pass checked.

Flight was full, I got a middle seat in front of the cabin.

Departure
Boarding completed on time, Crew conducted safety demonstration manually. After a short taxi to runway 16R. Departed towards South towards Melbourne.
CABIN Service
Preparing for duty free sales, I had my breakfast early. I skipped the Buy on Board service.

Onboard sales had commenced.
Arrival in Melbourne
Descend was announced after completion of duty free service was over. Crew conducted checks and took seats for landing. Arrived in Melbourne on time.
As it was dark in the morning, couldn''t see the registration. Jetstar Airways VH-VGY operated the Sydney to Melbourne flight.

As I didnt have check-in bag, I continued walking towards exit.
Bus to City
As Melbourne doesn't have a train station. Choice is to take a taxi or Skybus to city Waling to skybus kiosk.
Buying Bus Ticket
Reached Skybus Kiosk to buy Bus ticket.Fare to City was $17 and return fare was $28. I got the return fare as I would be returning back next day.
Shuttle bus to Long term parking also arrives here.
OnBoard Bus
Boarded the bus to Southern Cross Station to catch train.

Deboarded at Southern Cross station. Bought a return ticket to Lara station.
