The Air France app is well desgined, and you can have your boarding pass at hand.

Time for the cabin map insant!

at paris - charles de gaulle airport

I arrived from the previous flight on the eastern building of the 2F terminal. I walked to the other building, the western one to reach the lounge.

AT THE 2F AIR FRANCE LOUNGE

The access to the lounge is via a small staircase/ escalator - not the fanciest entrance but does the job.

photo 20210324_120143

The lounge is split into two floors, both of them featuring a buffet and seating areas.

photo 20210322_114621-29613

I usually stay on the first floor.

These lounges are a bit small - rather there is a lot of people. I am looking forward for the new F lounge.

There wasn't any food on the previous flight so I decided to go for a full menu - sod it!

Let's start with the rehydratation process.

I am not a wine connoisseur, rather I try to drink so I know a bit what I like. Usually Air France does select a nice wine list but Cave de Tain is really not the best value for money, and especially not for Saint-Joseph.

Do you see how with age now it is better to balance a glass of wine with a glass of water? Are you the same too?

And unlike @pititom I have a sweet tooth, so I could try desserts all the day long!

onboard the a318

After just half an hour, I went to my gate, where the skyteam elite priorities were respected.

Aircraft: Airbus A318-111
Registration: F-GUGA
Engines: 2x CFM56
Age: 17 Years
Layout: Y131
Observation: some really shiny engine edges!!

It is like a mirror you could see the plane on it!

Look at this beautiful view on the 2E terminal buildings: hall K, L and M!

photo 20210322_130357

most of the cruise was over some really cloudy skies..

Luckily we had this superb mirror effect on the engine!!

photo 20210322_130854

And just like on the first flight, here was the time of the complimentary business class meal service.

Air France pays here a true tribute to the elegance a la Francaise and Savoir de vivre a la Francaise.. or is it?

photo 20210322_102935

Not even alcool was offered can you imagine?

When a joke isn't funny what is it? a provocation?

I am still very upset about this.

Blue sky now and mirror effect!

There are still no paper magasines on board and so I read it on the app.

You can tell how much more Transavia network covers now, even including domestic routes (look at Brest for example)

Did you notice that back in march the first B777-200ER already left the fleet? The count is down to 21 now.

Ready for touch down?

Conclusion

Where is...

The lounge?
The champagne during boarding
The champagne/wine during the meal
The meal?
The coffe?
The "do you want some more sir?"

Instead, Air France offers you the economy prestation (mind you the economy doesn't have chocolate) and a really heavy WTF feeling left for the unlucky business passenger to deal with.

Morality
1. Air France considers a chocolate box is worth 200euro - the difference of fare between economy and business
2. If you want to feel like what it is to be in business nowadays, you just need a flight not too full so that you don't have a passenger next to you and a box of chocolate (that you can buy at Brioche doree) and- WELCOME IN BUSINESS CLASS sir!

In conclusion it mixed experience with Air France.

This A319 isn't that new but offers Best cabin
The WiFi is real plus, or at least I should say I am getting used to it!
