Hi,
I arrived at a sunny Munich Airport on a rather busy Friday afternoon. Nonetheless there were no queues at the Lufthansa priority check in area and my luggage was on its way within seconds.
Once airside I headed to the Lufthansa Senator Lounge at G 24 area. In the begnning it was still rather busy but at ca. 16:30 it started to get empty quickly. Here are some shots of this nice lounge which feels rather cosy and quite modern overall.

The self service buffet offers some cold salads, dessert & ice cream.

All drinks and warm food however has to be ordered and is handed over by staff.

I started with some meat balls which actually tasted very nice. I also tried the cold bean salad and some very creamy potato salad.

Followed by some ice cream and a cup of tasty Espresso.

Boarding had just started when I reached the gate - as always in typical Lufthansa way with a mess and no proper queues for priorities etc. This keeps to stay an ongoing problem for Lufthansa at Munich forever in my opinion.

A short shot of our A 319 for this evening's flight.

A friendly cabin crew welcomed us and handed over disinfection towels.

I took my window seat in the second row of a huge Business Class cabin filling 10 rows this evening.

A look outside the window before we started our pushback and departure direction East.

This flight was announced to take 1 hour and soon the cabin crew was released to start inflight service.

A cold meal with a warm bread roll out of a basket was served.

Another picture without the plastic covers. The tomatoes and mozzarella balls actually tasted very bland. The dessert was not very tasty neitherand tasted very artificial.

Drinks trolley followed and I had some wine, water and tea as usual. On this occasion I noted that Lufthansa uses below picture standard glasses only on domestic flights. All International flights get a proper mix of separate wine and water glasses.

The cabin crew was friendly but typical Lufthansa way nothing extraordinary. The flight progressed smoothly and soon we were descending into sunny Hamburg skies.

We touched down and parked next to a nice looking Iberia Airbus headed for Madrid.

One final view of the evening apron.

Hi FlyAlex, thanks for sharing!
Ok, I know it's a short domestic flight, but those 5 mozzarella balls and 3 tiny tomato slices look really sad ?
It's definitely better than anything that would be served in the US on a similar length flight, but it just made me laugh.
LH should take a lesson from OS and hire Do & Co to do the catering!
Thanks for sharing!
