The way out will be fully paid out, and the return to be redeemed with Avios - I have had enough miles to get us all the way from Merida to Paris, we just had to buy the last leg to Lyon separately. I decided to then have two seperate bookings for each way, making it an unbeatable fare for a return trip to Yucatan.
Flying blue Miles earned with this flight: 102
Status earned: 2 XP
And for those who remember, we used to receive the boarding pass this way: ready to print and be folded.
Since I was an elite member, I could have chosen for both of us our seat on this A319..
We left you from our previous leg from Mexico with the A380…
We walked and took the train to terminal 2F.
Another picture of your FR writer!
We went to our gate, where the skyteam elite priorities were respected.
Aircraft: Airbus A319-111
Engines: 2x CFM56
Age: 20 Years
Observation: One of the A319 belonging to the European subfleet.
The view from my seat..
Look at the Joon aircraft on the background..
The best and beyound cabin with the red line where the luggage racks are…
All the seats were also equipped with USB plugs to charge our personal devices…
The service was somehow minimal… for once I tried the savoury option
The Air France magazine… covering the upgrade of the Lounges the compnay wants to run
Landing happened on 35R as usual…
Arrival happened at T2 as usual for Air France
Another nice flight with Air France.
A flight on one of the A319 retrofitted with the best and beyound seats. The A319 are due to be replaced soon with A220s so one could understand why these are still the old seats.
CDG: as usual.
Lounge: needs a bit more space, it gets really crowded.
LYS: efficient as usual. What i appreciate on top of the cleanlyness is the "no surprise" factor. Everything is always the same. Gate on arrival, the belt of the luggage reclaim etc..
