This trip report is from 2010. I had work related travel to Brisbane. Virgin Australia was formerly know as Virgin Blue Airlines due to trademark issue.

I arrived at airport on time by train. I had checked online and dropped bag at check-in counter.

Boarding was called, queue was formed in front of gate area. Boarding pass was checked and allowed to head towards aircraft. Boarded using aerobridge and walked towards seat. Flight was full.

Approach towards Brisbane airport was over sea.

Landed smoothly and after a short taxi arrived at gate. Brisbane does not have daylight saving. Queensland being 1 hour behind NSW in summer. It was still 8.30 am on arrival.

Conclusion

Virgin Blue Airline provided satisfactory service, Flight departed and arrived on time. Sydney domestic is easy to navigate, Brisbane has fast train to city and Gold coast, which is very convenient for travelers.
