Hi everybody,
I arrived in front of Terminal 2 at a grey and rather cold winter morning. I quickly headed to the Lufthansa First Class Check in area being a Star Alliance Gold customer. The Terminal was very quiet this morning and so I was airside very quick.

I passed border control and made my way to the Lufthansa Senator Lounge in H gates Level.

I was greeted friendly and the Lounge was almost empty as well. This Lounge is nice and very airy offering plenty of different seating sections.

The self service buffet offered a nice breakfast without providing a huge choice. Definitely here Lufthansa is not back to pre covid standards.

Still I had a tasty breakfast.

On my way to the gate I enjoyed some views on the apron.

Boarding had already started and soon I was on the bus taking us to the Croatia Airlines Dash 8 turboprop.
Some views of the nice small airplane waiting for us on the apron.

A rather cold welcome on the door with disinfection towels provided from a basket.

Passing the Business Class where only 1 guest ended up.

My seat was reached soon and was comfortable with enough leg room and in good general shape.

The seat also offered a nice separate cup holder.

Seat pocket next to the safety card also hold a menu and inflight magazine.

Some views outside before snow fall started which is why we collected a delay of ca. 40 minutes waiting for deicing.

Finally we taxiied out and soon departed direction East.

Leaving the huge layer of clouds and soon climbing to cruising altitude.

Some magnificent views od winterly Alps could be enjoyed.

The cabin crew passed with a trolley distributing free small bottles of water and some Croatian cracker snack which was very welcome. Later on you could additionally buy other things from BOB menu which I declined.

The flight passed by quickly enjoying the great Alpine scenery.

Soon we started our descend over Slovenia into Zagreb.

Some views of the greater Zagreb area before touchdown.

We taxiied to our parking position and a bus brought us to the very modern but totally deserted terminal building.
